Energizer Activities To Get Your Morning Started
Morning can be tough for some people. Maybe you are one of them and don’t want to go to work, as you feel lethargic and don’t want to get up.
However, mornings are important and there are many things you can do in the morning to make sure you have a better day.
For one thing, if you wait till the last minute to hop out of bed, take your shower and get dressed, you have to rush out the door or you will be late for work or an appointment.
This schedule certainly sets you up for a less productive day. When you look over your day, do you see that you had a bad day because of not giving yourself the time you needed to get things done?
For a better day, get your day off to a better start with these 7 tips:
Make A To Do List The Night Before
It is hard to get the day off to a good start if you don’t know what is planned. Or you may forget something important. The to do list is a great reminder.
Do you need to dress up for the day, or wear your normal attire? Do you have to get off work for a Doctors visit? As you can see all this needs planned out ahead.
Drink Water First Thing In Morning
Drink a big glass of water first thing in the morning. After a night of rest, you are dehydrated because you have not taken in any water for a number of hours.
Fluids are lost through normal body processes such as urinating, evaporated through breathing and through the skin to name a few ways. It must be replenished for good health or your body fluids become low, leading to illness or malfunction, just like your car can become low on water and then ends up with a breakdown.
It is noteworthy that a lack of water to the brain can cause focusing and memory problems. It can lead to depression and brain fog. So I suggest you make a concerted effort to drink an adequate amount of water.
Tip: If you can put 1/2 of a lemon’s juice with a cup of lukewarm water, and drink down, (drink more water after) the acidic acid will help jump start your digestion and it helps your liver to cleanse. It is a great way to start your morning and get energized.
Exercise In The Morning
Exercise is engergizing. Put on your walking shoes and head outdoors and do a power walk, even if it is a short one. Or you could use a treadmill indoors or use some bands for resistance exercises. This is a great way to clear your mind and feel energized. This is how to improve your mood as well, as it is a stress reliever.
Don’t wear yourself out though, this is just a way to become invigorated. You have the rest of the day to go through without feeling too fatigued.
Breakfast Is Important
You have not had anything nutritious for a number of hours and now is the time to have a good breakfast. It will help you feel better and provide some nutrition to start the day.
Do choose healthy foods, such as egg and oatmeal, lean protein and possibly some vegetables or fruit, or even a fruit smoothie with some added protein.
Experiment with these different meal choices until you find a few that work well for you.
An added bonus is that those who regularly eat a nutritious breakfast are usually leaner, according to research.
Raw Foods
Add raw foods into what you are eating daily. With all the vitamins, minerals and enzymes this will give your body, this is a real energy booster. Most people do not eat nearly enough raw foods, which are usually fruits and vegetables. I would suggest emphasizing the raw vegetables.

Get Up Earlier
Get up earlier than you need to. You cannot take control of your morning or control your stress if you get up late.
You will get more enjoyment out of the first part of your day if you don’t have unnecessary pressure. So get to bed on time and make sure you get the sleep your body requires.
Address Your Most Important Task First
Using your to do list, tackle your most important task first. Be prepared to face it, even if you don’t want to do it. Then give yourself a “pat on the back” for a job well done.
Your resources are at full capacity earlier in the day, than they are later. By afternoon, many people become tireder and less inclined to do things. If it needs done in the afternoon, do one or two of the suggestions above to help energize yourself.
A Good Morning Often Means A Good Day
Life can get crazy and hectic, so don’t put yourself deliberately on that path by getting out of bed at the last minute and grabbing the first thing you find, to eat on the way to work.
Now that you know how to get energized, plan for a good day, give yourself time in the mornings to do some of these energizer activities and see the difference it will make for you.
